Great neighborhood chill Ethiopian place. Service is fine, food is great. The owner/chef is friendly and chill. It’s bare bones in a comfortable sort of way you’d expect from a family place. Not too expensive. The food is super flavourful with a blend of meat and veg dishes. We went in with six people and the owner just set us up with food for the table and it was perfect. It’s funny all the one star reviews are all from these ridiculous clowns that are so mad East African food has actual spice and flavour. Go home and eat your mayonnaise sandwiches if having a bit of spice is just such a traumatic experience for you.

It's a small family run business so don't expect any fancy seating or atmosphere. However the owners more than make up for it and are quite hospitable and jovial. I had a pleasure speaking to them and also help learn more about the Ethiopian culinary culture. Indians will probably like a lot many dishes which though a bit different has many of its ingredients used and hence a familiar taste. We tried the Non-veg and the Veg Platter since it gives you a bit of all dishes and is totally worth it. Atleast from what I gathered from my first Ethiopian food experience was that they do quite authentic (and homemade) food than any multi cuisine fancy restaurant you would find. So totally worth every star provided.

We just moved to the neighborhood and decided to try this restaurant based on the great reviews. We’ve only ordered takeout twice, and we love it! The food is authentic, brimming with spices and exotic herbs. Everything is so fresh that I didn’t feel sluggish afterward. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Food: got the 2 person combo set with Keye Wot. some of the best food I've had in Vancouver. Meat was flavorful and balances well with the slightly sour injera. Portions are on the smaller side but still fills u up. Service: less attentive than other restaurants. Atmosphere: homey feel. It's like a restaurant out of a home with the decorations, door, small restaurant with ~ 6-8 tables.

Really good flavours and the best people ! I definitely recommend going here and if you’ve never had Ethiopian food, this is the place to try it. They also have some drinks

Authentic Ethiopian food. The doro wot (chicken) was buttery and flavorful. The kitfo was spicy and delicious. Service was warm and friendly and the space was comfortable.
